LOCATION

Outdoor boudoir is a great option for those of use that like to take in the fresh air. The scenery for boudoir here in Colorado is breathtaking therefore, adding so much more drama to your photos. Mountain top, forest, river, or lakeside, we have it all here. We can sneak off trail side or another fun suggestion is booking a private air bnb in the mountains so you know you won’t be bumping into any strangers while in your skivvies! I did this for my own personal boudoir shoot. After searching on VRBO, I came across a gorgeous mansion in Boulder with land. I asked them if they had any dates they knew they wouldn’t be able to book and could rent it to me for a few hours. They agreed and I got a killer deal on an amazing location. I was so much more comfortable knowing no one else would accidentally walk into my boudoir shoot. If you are feeling more risky and going trail side, I do keep an eye out for others and keep a robe near by for quick coverage.

LIGHT

Another reason to choose outdoor boudoir is for the stunning light we just can’t re-create in studio. Shooting boudoir at sunset is such a beautiful experience. That golden light hitting the skin gives such a feeling of warmth to a photo. Eyes pop with color when the sunlight hits them. The light can really take your session to the next level.

WARDROBE

If your feeling a little apprehensive about being outdoors in only your skivvies, there is an answer for that too! You don’t have to strip down to lingerie or bare skin. You can choose wardrobe that is sexy and revealing without actually being too “showy”. A cute pair of cut off jeans and a crop top is a great example. Throw on a jacket but where nothing underneath so we can open it to make it sexy but close it up to keep your comfortable. Grab a sexy flowy gown. Swimsuits are also super sexy! Grab a cozy sweater, boy shorts, and some long socks for a cozy feel. There really are so many more options to explore and I am here to help you find the perfect outfits.
