Mommy and Me Photoshoot -Denver-Photographer-Christmas

If you know me at all, then you know I adore working with mothers and their children. Olga and Julia were no exception. This mommy and me photoshoot was so precious. Julia is almost 10 and has been modeling for a couple years now. She is a natural born pro at getting photographed. This girl is going places!!!

When Olga approached me about taking photos of Julia, I couldn’t help but notice how gorgeous Olga was too. I offered to do a Mommy and Me Photoshoot instead of Julia alone. Olga agreed. She said she couldn’t remember the last time the two of them ever had been photographed together. It was way overdue!

Our Christmas set was adorned with the most stunning floral arrangements from my friend Shannon at The Olive and Poppy. My studio smelled amazing. Her work gave just the right ambiance for a timeless and romantic tone.

For our other set we went with a new years theme. Simple cream backdrop with fun gold and silver metallic confetti. Olga and Julia’s dresses were a perfect match!

Olga mentioned when she got her gallery back, she was emotional. A good and happy emotional. She was so glad to have these memories forever, to look back on when Julia starts high school, when she graduates, when she moves out, or simply wants to remember Julia at 9 years old. She will remember the bond they share as a mother and daughter. A bond of true nurturing love.
